This last July I wanted to find a nice, surprising gift that my Fiance would appreciate. I often don’t have a car to travel around and to go shopping in-person (we a re a one-car household!), so online shopping it was! I remembered something called Loot Crate that my sister and her boyfriend had told me about.
Loot crate is a really cool concept. If you have heard of monthly subscription boxes, it is pretty similar to other ones that you can find out there on the internet. The only two differences are that the type of items you receive are pop culture collectibles, and Loot Crate is about $10 cheaper than most other subscription boxes. I signed up for Loot Crate in July thinking I would cancel it right after we received our first box. My fiance loved it so much, he asked me to keep them coming!
Every month Loot Crate selects a different theme for the types of products they send you. This months theme was “Time”. Usually some of the items will be pretty good, some them I wouldn’t be too interested in. This time, we scored! It is my favorite box so far! Upon opening the box, I got excited to see a Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure t-shirt. That alone was enough to make me happy! Also included in the box was a Back to the Future Doc Brown Funko Figure, a Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver Spork, a Loot Crate Flux Capacitor Pin, and (my favorite) a collectible mini scale replica of a Mattel Hoverboard.
I personally can’t wait to see what they have to offer next month! If you liked what you see here, go check out LootCrate.com!
